I believe in what my friend stressed when he was teaching me how to ride observed trials. He kept stressing the fundamentals, weight placement, braking and throttle control to the point that I was getting a little bored with the whole thing. Then we started working on combinations of manuvers and it all started to come together. As I quickly found out, big bike or little bike mattered less that proper riding technique. That being said, a CBR600 has a lot of performance potential and must be treated with the respect that it deserves. Any motorcycle can seriously hurt you if you do not employ the proper restraint.
