I recently got my 2006 street bob and I notice some noises from the engine. Since I´m new to this engine I´m not sure if it´s normal or not. I remember years ago a Harley owner telling me once he had loud pipes so he doesn´t have to hear his engine. I just had the bike in the shop for a broken ignition switch and asked them to check it out as I bought it from a guy and not a dealer. They said it ran great so I´m assume it´s just me. It´s a ticking sound that bugs me. But if that´s typical I´ll not hear it after a while I´m sure. Nothing really bad sounding, just not a cohesive engine sound that blends in with the pipes, kind of thing. :) Other than that, I love this bike.
