Maintenance cost

Hi

I have always a fan of Royal Enfield. But I could not own one yet. But I want to buy a new standard 350 bullet. But many of my friends and relatives say that the maintenance cost of Bullet is very high and it has many problems like oil leak, periodical break of cables, gear change problems and mileage problems. Now I am a little bit confused about it. I have asked many mechanics about it but none of them gave me a satisfactory answer.

Could you please tell me is this machine reliable. If I buy a standard model, how much of mileage I can expect and what could be its maintenance cost. Will it fetch me troubles?
