More Power for hills Sym Jet 50cc

My question is - How to Squeeze some more power out of the Jet BasiX 50cc without voiding the warranty. The top speed of 70kph is ok, it´s hills, even slight ones, that are the problem. One person has suggested lightening the Variator. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
