What I did with my other scooter (Piaggio Typhoon) to increase the top speed was change the drive grear with a lower ratio, it is sold as an aftermarket accessory made by Malossi. I am not sure if they have some for the GTS. But this will surely decrease the acceleration, you can´t have both unless change the engine displacement with a bigger one which I would not recommend.
