Great little scooter for here on the Algarve where the roads are narrow and packed with tourists.
The Sym Allo 50 is an eye-catcher. I have maybe a dozen folk a day stopping to have a look at it.
It´s my only mode of transport here. It is reliable and carries a passenger with no noticable lack of performance, which of course is as good as a 50cc scooter can be. I have the earlier version with the three dials in a cluster rather than one. I think the three looks better.
After a couple of hours of long riding on the main drag, you will get a numb %&#!¤, but normally it is a confortable ride and easy to handle. I get around 100km per tank which was the other reason for buying it.
Just waiting for the weather to warm up to ditch the winter woolies cos cruising the Algarve on the Sym Allo, is as good as it gets.
