Recently bought a used Bimota YB9 SRI. Apart from a leaky radiator which has since been repaired, the engine surges continually. Firstly we checked the computer and found the chip still encased in silicone and appears not to have been changed or tampered with, we have however noticed that there is no air temp. sensor in the airbox. For the moment, we have borrowed another sensor out of our Ducati 851 but have not had the chance to test it in the YB9. Previous experience with the fuel injected 851 has shown us that some components are identical to other injection components used in cars and other bikes. Can anyone help me with any information on the sensor ie is there a generic sensor available or do we have to go genuine? Many thanks
