I was flying down a hill with a passenger when the cooling fan and shroud exploded into pieces and went under the tire at about 50 -55 mph. I have it derestricted at the cdi, but have done nothing to the variator (gears). Now I have to wait weeks for the parts and I don,t know how much it will cost yet. When I got it home, I had to tighten down the head and exhaust. Appears fine for now. Do they make a better fan for these or what. If the motor is screwed, I,ll get the big bore, but will the fan take it? I see videos of europeans flying along on theirs. Some of the tricked out ones have no shroud, What is up? Do I need this or are there modifications I can do. Anyone care to help a guy out? Love the scooter though. I,ll just have to make do with my honda elite 50 until I get my parts.
