I love my little ZX-50 but it is now time to get a much more powerfull kymco! I have had only cars my whole life.I am now an old man with not much $$$.So I checked out mutiple scooter brands and I did a lot of research and thats how I ended up with the kymco.Granite I´ve had mine around 2 years and this is the most dependable transportation I ever owned!!Now a days for around the same sum of money I could no doubt get more bang for the buck! I would say the biggest drawback are the small tires.I beleive it is very important to have some much larger tires all the way around.Small tires hurt your cornering though I don´t have a problem & you never want to drive in sand or dirt but For 49cc ,no extras and extremely bare bottom basic THE ZX-50 cannot be touched in my humble and slightly educated opinion. The room under the seat is a great feature.I look forwad to buying at least 150cc.this is my sole transpo so I need something I can drive on the highway.I have never owned a motorcycle or scooter so this was a great starter scooter but for anyone who wants insane gas mileage and something dependable with a maximum speed around 48 MPH under the right conditions but a solid 45 MPH in general and it also has great pick up for such a small 2 stroke!! I tell every one if your going to buy a scooter it has to be Kymco!!! I can´t forget also on the down side the headlight bulb is a one filament and it is not very bright! I did not mean to end on a sour note. You guys will continue to get my business and word of mouth! Thanks Kymco sincerely marc garber |
