It´s not a question how good the bikes are, respectively - it´s where you are. If you are out of a Motorcycle Safety Course, I would take the Kymco Venox - it´s new, your dealer does setup, you won´t want to go over 50-55 during the 1st 500 miles, then you can get it on the Interstate. If the Honda is in great condition, and you have a mechanical background to fix the 11 year old, go for it.
