Lived with a CTX1300 registered 2015 - built I think in 2014. Some great bits 1: looks, 2: high screen you can see over (raining and darkness fine) 3: sound system 4:Top end power and speed 5: twisty handling (once you dial-in the enormous length) 6: fairly light for the size 7: Up to 60mpg 8: comfortable seats 9: Incredible illumination of the road ..................... BUT have they fixed the problems? 1: Panniers built out of something like toffee -really brittle and lids close in a fiddly way and they hold much less than they look like they might 2: If you drop it, the peg designed to catch the bike doesnt hit the floor - the spotlights and panniers ´save´ the peg (hello?) 3: Slow speed handling is lumpy and this is a heavy slowspeed bike 4: Almost NO power up to about 1750rpm and little up to 2250rpm -yet it redlines at 4500... 5: The engine whines it only roars at about 3.5k so starting it makes Harley owners giggle 6:Clutch lever (and throttle grip) have fierce springs on them, busy traffic conditions killed my hands (the GL1500 and Deauville 700 never did) 8: WHERE is the front suspension, since when do ripples in the tarmac make you blip the throttle! 9:Handlebars are directly in front of the mirrors if you are in cruiser riding position (not so if you hunch forward, but it´s a cruiser!) Be interested to see what people think to this. I sold up after 9 months and a shade over 3000 miles....
