Keeping it at, or below,3000rpm for 600 miles is KILLIN ME !
300 down. 300 to go.
My other bike is a 113 c.i. SoftTail Wideglide w/ a super G carb, and mechanical clutch.
I’m not impressed with the throttle response of the ‘17, but understand it’s also 350 lbs heavier, so I’m Tryin !
However, the couch like ride is much easier on my tired %&#!¤body, then my lowered bar hopper.
And Sounds Too ?
I’m glad a pulled the trigger and bought it.
I miss my old pipes too. But I’ve riden past a dozen ticket writers, and they just Glance now, instead of the evil eye I’ve grown used too.
