I finally have about 600 miles on my GV250. The engine is beginning to loosen up. I have tried to stick with the engine break-in rule of half throttle for 500 to 600 miles and three quarter throttle from 500 to 1000 miles. I used the three quarter rule yesterday and the bike responded unbelievably. I had it up to sixty-five miles an hour before I relized it. At one point I hit seventy-five. I did not want to push it any harder. I am a farly large man at 6´ tall and 230 pounds. The bike doesn´t hesitate.

I am enjoying this bike more and more.
