I´ve had the same problem with my Aquila 250 when I first bought it - put in neutral and green led light up but actually not in neutral so when engine starts it jerked. Another problem I had was hard to kick up to 2nd gear sometimes. Both problems were fixed simply just adjusting the cluch cable, ask your mechanic to do it. The problems went away and have not reoccured since. Or you can just start the bike holding the clutch in. One thing do need to be aware tho´, I ride it everyday and the front factory brake pad wears out very quickly (about 6-8 months). As soon as you hear squicky/scratching sound replace it with a better brake pad and that should last a long time. Lubricate the chain well and it runs really smoothly. I haven´t experienced problems in wet weather conditions, I think the suddent jerk problem will also go away when u adjust the clutch cable. I´ve had my all black brand new Aquila 250 for about 8 months now and it´s running very smoothly after warm up properly. I´ve added backrest, saddle bags and refitted slash-cut exhaust pipes, man they sound awesome. I love the chromes and had numerous bikers came to me with lots of admirations and asked me about the engine size. one biker said his 1000cc bike looked & felt smaller than mine! I love the front & back fenders, very stylish, a classic cruiser feel. I just love it, every minute on it is a pleasure, I even had dreams on polishing it and riding it hee hee... I think I´ll customize it in the future... |
