This is a wonderful motorcycle and can easily make the steep hills in fifth gear. Last mpg was 62.8. My big toe started hurting from shifting gears, and so I starting heel-shifting and that solved that problem. Most of the torque is in the lower rpm, and so I took to speed-shifting, and can get up to speed very quickly. I´ve had other more powerful motorcycles but this one is a keeper.
