Try changing your spark plug to a more high performance 1 for winter. These bikes have a tendency to stop when ever they want to when it comes to cold weather. If that doesn´t cure it, get your carb balanced. I had this problem once with my cruise 2, all I did was turn the little screw on the carb to make it tick over at 1500 rpm. Hasn´t stalled on me since ;)
