Hey, Dawgbone- I live in Colorado Springs, and I´m also seriously looking into getting a 625 SXC or SMC. There´s pretty good amount of information through this specific thread: http://forums.delphiforums.com/625sxc/messages/?msg=77.1 It´s gonna be my first bike *ever* so I´m really trying to do good research. I´ve seen the same recommendations above several times, as well as re-positioning the shift lever up a notch to reduce the inherrent sensitivity with the stock setting. Depending on who/how we get our KTMs, I´m pretty sure we´ll also need to re-jet for this altitude. There´s a huge jetting topic here: http://forums.delphiforums.com/625sxc/messages?msg=36.120 Also (pulled from the above discussion) the SMC is factory street legal w/restrictions, blinkers, streetable tires and the SXC is not. So I´ll have to add the dual sport kit and just rm the air snorkle and maybe get another set of rims/tires to save the off-roaders. Anyway.. just yappin´. =Mitch |
