The choke on left hand grip on the handle bar should be full open, the little lever on the left hand handle bar above the clutch should be pushed away from the left hand grip. press the electric start, you need then to just add a tiny bit of gentle throttle to change the engine from turning over to one thats alive & well. if your struggling at first try kicking the engine over just to free the engine up...then start it with the electric started as described above...if its ver hot then you don´t need to add choke...or adjust the advance/retard firing option on the handle bar....kicking the engine over just saves your battery while your figuring out the sweet spots that start your bike up.....mine is mega reliable & really great on how little fuel it guzzles...have fun
