Can anyone educate me on how to start my KTM 640 Adventure when cold? I bough it new a few years ago and its always been very difficult to start when cold. Has 700 miles on it. Supposed extra large battery gives me only a few seconds of tickover before it goes dead. I keep the bike on a trickle charger in my unheated garage in Colorado. I don´t think I have ever been able to kick start the bike when cold. Kick start is only really feasible when I´m on a ride and bike is fully warm. I am using the decompress button and the full choke when cold. Suggestions?
