What a great bike. But careful on the dismount. The centre stand is awkward to use and impossible on rough ground. A rough mountain track after an inch of rain made standing the bike a real challenge. What a dilemma, do you find neutral and attempt a dismount while the bike wants to take off down the mountain, or leave it in gear and then try to find neutral to restart which will leave you about 5 minutes behind everyone else while you are dicking around with the gear lever. Can anyone else start the bike in gear with the clutch in?? Mine will only start in neutral which is frustrating and annoying especially when you stall in heavy traffic and cant find neutral. I won´t go offroading with a full tank of juice again. The bike is way too top heavy in tight turns. But once the fuel has burnt off it becomes easier to handle and good fun. And no worries with range. My mates had to refuel 3 times and i still had a quarter of a tank left. The tyres are great on bitumen and straight sandy roads but I found the tyres not adequate on loose surfaces. Will order a set of knobbys today. Does anyone know of a way to make the pocket above the headlights and speedo safe to store your small stuff. Its handy for throwing your keys in but i worry they wont be there when i get home after some fun acceleration and cornering??
