REMOVE CAT/REPLACE WITH gp RACING PIPE

Has anyone removed the cat on their 2017 Super Duke R and replaced it with an aftermarket flow through race pipe.if I do this I will also have bodis twin slip on.will I need to have the bike remapped or can I use it as is without doing any mechanical damage?
