if you are looking for a 125 u wont realli be able to be able to beat a ktm... there fast light and extremely good handling but as a first bike i would advise you to take it slow and easy to start with because they are rapid bikes a tweak of the throttle could enter you into the powerband...but dont buy the 05 model the older ones are better there trying to put to mutch techincal bllox on bikes nowerdays whitch is good but enless your a bike mechanic well is quite annoying!! hope this helped
