Expansion Chamber troubles

I have a 1983 125cc Ktm bike. It needs an expansion chamber. I am wondering if 84 or 1985 parts( i.e. the expansion chamber)will fit my bike.
Also what should the compression on a 125 be?

Any help would be great!
