Just bought a 2001 xvs 250 to do my time on and loving it. One problem, however is that the lovely folk at Yamaha will not release any service manuals and I can´t for the life of me find any after market ones. I bought the bike second hand from a dealer and they won´t put me in contact with the previous and oruiginal owner because of some new privacy laws here in Australia. If anyone anywhere in the world can get me a copy of the service manual, please send me an email and we might be able to work something out. Cheers, Karl Peck, Melbourne australia
