Hello out there back in the States. I´m in Iraq right now, but I bought a 2005 Dyna Custom w/FI (over the internet) from a local HD shop and it´s waiting for me. I sat on them at a dealer, but never rode one (it will be my 3rd bike, but 1st HD). Just kind of curious on other riders´ experiences with it. I had the Stage 1 intake and SE slip on´s already installed. I also want a tach, but am told that HD currently doesn´t make one for the Custom (the speedo / tach combo currently listed for the Dyna will NOT fit the Custom due to a different handlebar clamp).
I just wanted to get other owner´s feedback on their experience with the bike and any ideas on where to get a tach that will fit. Drag Specialties does not have one.
Trying to beat the 108 deg. heat here in Fallujah.
