I have this light pinging, it sounds like it is coming from the top end. Sounds like a valve out of adjustment. It is noticable at lets say 30 mph in 3rd. gear and abut the same RPMs in all the gears thru 5th.. I can´t hear anything at idle. People tell me that it is a sound that is common with the Twin Cam 96 ci.and nothing to worry about. I have put around 2000 miles on it since I got it, it only has around 3100 mile on it.
Could you please give me your thoughts on this problem.
The bike still runs great and no problems with it other than this sound, Thanks
