Andy,
You may be on to something with the bad lunch theory.
I just bought an 05´ TE 510 and just returned from my 3rd desert trip on her, I could not be happier with the bike! it starts easily and has never stalled on me(even after a crash just hold in the clutch and pick her up and go) I tried to kick it over just out of curiousity and have come to the conclusion that it is impossible for me at 5´9\
