I actually own a 2002 Yamaha Midnight Venture whic is the same bike as the 1999 to current 2008 models. I have owned ten or fifteen bikes over the past 35 years and I have to say this is the greatest bike I have owned to date. If you are looking for a race bike, a wheelie, or off road bike this is not for you. However if you are looking for a comfortable nice ride for long distance touring or just running around town especially riding two up, this is the bike for you. I am approching 15000 miles with zero problems. I will be putting on my first new front tire this spring and have added most every option Yamaha offers which makes this bike look even better and I get many complements. Probably the only thing I hate is when people say to me \\
