I bought a red 650 Raptor in august 2006 for 6099€ in Belgium where I live. I fall in love with that bike, riding it is so thrilling, the frame is top one as well as the Suzuki twin which delivers 73 cv at 9000rmp, always up to go! Front Brembo brakes double disc 4 pistons are well suited even though the feeling is a little stiff. The precision of the front end is so sharp when the rythm boost. Some flaws also, like the rear brake not convincing, relatively stiff suspension when the road is deteriorated, not built at all for duos, no room for nothing, except the rider and a bag on the rear while traveling. The autonomy is good depending on the way you ride (280 kms is ok). One other good point is that the bike do not required lot of mechanical maintenance, but simply as it is an italo-japanese beauty, you have to look after in order to make it swell. Well I´m still in love with that bike and not ready to change, except for the Raptor 1000 if I find a good one. One more thing this bike must sleep in a shed.
