Has anyone rebuilt the front of their Bandit S?

Has anyone rebuilt the front of their Bandit S?

I have a 600s bandit and I want to change the front to look more like the front of a 600 bandit. I want it to have the naked look without the fairings around the gauges and headlight. I know I will need to get a new headlight and remount it, and I was just wandering if anyone has done anything like this before and good give me direction. Thanks
