Exhaust Gas Recirculation |

i noticed that there is an exhaust smoke recirculation system installed on Junlin´s engine. http://img156.imageshack.us/my.php?image=egr9va.gif The main purpose is to reduce some exhaust pollution. I have such Recirculation valve in the car, diesel. But it only works when the engine is not under heavy load, like idle or cruising. During acceleration the valve is closed, so engine only gets a fresh air for maximum power. That Junlin´s recirculator is open all the time, causing intake air to get dirty with a smoke all the time. I´m planning to disable it, actually i´ll just remove the pipes from the air filter box and block the holes with some tape or glue something. What do you think about this?? |
