HI THE OIL FILTER IS LIKE A METAL MESH WITH HOLE´S. IT STOP PITS GOING THROUGH...I BLOW THE HOLE´S TO CLEAN IT ..THAT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO..
I HAVE BEEN CHANGING MY OIL EVERY 500km
IMPORTANT:RUNNING IN NEW ENGINE READ INSTRUCTION BOOK PAGE 12..
YOU RIDE THE BIKE FOR ONE HOUR AT A TIME STOP THE ENGINE TO COOL IT FOR 10 MINUTES.SPEED AROUND 45km FOR THE FRIST 500km.I CHANGE THE OIL,CLEAN THE IGNITION PLUG.AFTER 750KM I HAVE FOUND THAT THE BIKE RUN´S BETTER AT 60km ON RUNNING IN..
MY BIKE HAS 1700km on the clock and still very tight on the ENGINE..P.S. CHECK YOUR NUT/BOLT AROUND YOUR BIKE I HAVE FOUND THAT SOME BOLT COME LOOSE i.e FOOT REST/GEARSHIFT LEVER.
ON THE REAR FENDER I HAVE FOUND IT HAS TO MANY HOLE´S I HAVE FILL THEM IN i.e LIGHT
