As the proud owner of a new Intruder Volusia, I wish that winter would end. I have 2000 km on my cruiser since last October. It is a wonderful bike. Long and low, it is stable and smooth, with way too much power for any practical purposes, other than raw acceleration. My question concerns the backfire that occurs on deceleration. Could it be caused by air supply restriction?
