I have a 2006 Mito 125. It is near new. The last time I rode the bike, I simply shut it down with the ignition and then turned the fuel off. I was sick for 4 weeks and then tried to start it. When I did, fuel spewed out of the carburettor overflow pipe and it would not start. Is this a common thing? I was told by the dealer that when I shut the bike down, I first turn the fuel off and let the bike run out of fuel from the carburettor. It is being repaired at the moment.

Any advice on how I should shut this little bambino down after a ride?

Cheers Tony :-)
