After the initial 500 Mile run in, remove the two pipes from the carbon monoxide(CO) feeds from the exhaust to the air filter. Cut the heads off some large bolts and use the bolt stems to block the rubber tubes, then refit them again as before. This prevents the CO from being mixed back into the air intake. As in more Oxygen, cleaner burn and more RPM/BHP. China has tougher restrictions than the UK. Our limit on Learner legal 125 is 15bhp but they come shipped from china at only 12Bhp. Preventing the CO feed back will boost about 3 to 5 Bhp. Make sure you only do this ´after you have run your engine in´. Another reminder to peeps saying about speed. Unless you are screaming it in top, its not the speed that is the Issue, its the Rev´s, As long as you do not let it rev out going through the gears then 50 to 55mph should be an OK top end whilst running in. |
