The third generation has been improved, larger exhaust port, improved upright ergonomics, fun bike for commuting, backroads, spirited riding, not overly powerful, small bike, I own a r1200rt for touring, but the Guzzi is a blast on the backroads, reminds me of a bmw r75/6 with modern technology. Easy minimal maintenance, 200 miles to a tank of gas, naked bike, basic suspension, decent brakes and handling, great looks, shaft drive makes the deal. Its light and naked so highway droning is not to appealing. Only negative is not to many dealers in the usa
