| The V7 III Stone is a very competent motorcycle, not quite as powerful as some of the Japanese bikes but nonetheless more than capable. I´ve had my V7 III Stone Night pack now for about six months, logged a little over 4300 miles and not had a single problem. I do everything from 100 mile day trips to 400 mile trips to see my family. It gets good gas mileage and can easily go about 250 miles before getting the warning to get more fuel. It´s plenty comfortable to do 400-500 miles a day for touring. Some of the information on it´s specs are incorrect on this site. It weighs 461 lbs. not 416 lbs. with all fluids and is a six speed not a five speed. It is one of the very few bikes you won´t see on every street corner, at least in the U.S. which makes it unique. I have yet to see another Guzzi in my home town. It´s a bike worth giving a try and you won´t be disappointed. |
