I´ve enjoyed the first 1600 miles on my Guzzi. Previous bike was a Yamaha RD350 that I rode over 30 years ago, and I enjoy the Guzzi much more. Only minor glitch at this point was the choke lever cable that was routed over the left cylinder head and came into contact with it. Housing slightly melted to the cable so it wouldn´t move. I just re-positioned two factory rubber bridges on the fins (they help to keep the other hoses/cables away from the fins) to keep the housing away from the cylinder head. Then I just muscled the choke lever until the cable was free again inside the housing. Problem solved.
Wanted to go with lower handlebars, so I tried some flat drag bars. Same curve as the stock bars, but because there´s no rise in the bar, the banjo bolt on the brake line and the metal fitting on the clutch cable were bumping into the top of the fork nut tube, so I couldn´t use them. Any replacement bar should have at least 1\
