Terrible Transmission Judder!

Hi All! I am running an Aprilia Atlantic 500 (same engine as X9) but am getting awful judder from transmission when cold. Once warmed up a bit, it kind of goes away, but makes the bike very unpleasant to ride away from a standstill, and difficult to control in traffic. Any ideas? I have stripped the clutch and cleaned it all out with brake cleaner, but so far only temporary success.
