I have owned this model since 1996 and it really is a great all around fun machine. Wet weather braking manners are beyond reproach. The fuel mileage is around 60 mpg at a steady 75 to 85 mph. Do not even think of 5th gear below that. With over 60 thousand on the clock, a u-joint and cables have been the only breakages. Avon tires work well and a fork brace helps front end feel. Two-up riding is great as well. What a lucky find.
