I have a 2002 xv1600. I am nearly 6´3´ and wish to modify it to increase comfort as the bike seems a bit short for my body length. I have installed Starbars which are very comfortable. But I have to do something about the seat. The stock seat is too soft and the rear ´lip´ prevents me from moving back enough to decrease the angle of my legs at the knees. Before I commit to a change and the cost thereof, can anyone tell me what options might be good in their experience? I am considering getting the seat modified or even trying the custom spring seats. Any ideas anyone?
