My bike died twice on the high way this morning

I have a 2017 fat boy s, a few days ago I had it covered out side and when I dove off it tried dyeing a few hounded yards from the house. Today I was on the high way and it went into limp mode twice then snapped out of it. any ideas what would cause this? I have only had it foe 3-4 month and it has 2800 miles on it. all i use in it is supreme or non ethanol. any ideas?
