I purchased a used 2008 harley fatbou, a great looking and riding bike.

there is not a dealer locally, so it is an effort to take it to the dealer.

I have noticed after filling the tank and running about 2 gallons out, there is something going on with the fuel, as it wont idle at the normal low rpm. I looked on the HD website and found there is a recall with something to do with a gas cap. My question, has anyone had a similar problem. I can unscrew the gas cap, releasing vacuum pressure, and it runs fine. Could the recall on the gas cap be related to this model?
