I recently picked up a 1999 BMW K1200RS ABS. After riding a few weeks, I have noticed the front brakes seem soft - I can first squeeze brake to the handle. But if I pump the handle it gets firm and touchy. Just wondering what you all thought it might be and how to inexpensively repair...I have heard air in the lines, rebuild master cylinders, etc...thoughts? 2-the seat seams to flare out a lot around the fuel tank - any idea on how to get it back or should I buy a new seat - and where might I get that? Bike is a great ride.... thanks, SMG |
