Trade in or keep?

I´m thinking about buying a 2017 full glide and I just found out that my o6 Fatboy is only worth $6,500 trade in.....
Should I trade it in or just keep it? Has only 35,000 miles, no accidents and up to date on all care, garaged and has alarm....would appreciate comments / opinions.
