Very sorry about your mother, I have lost mine as well in the last couple of years.
Walnecks is the best source for price ideas. They kind of set the standard. I have one as well and the last I checked they were worth about $4,000 . I saw one go on Ebay for $5,400 a couple of days ago. But these are running bikes. Of course you can discount if the bike has damage or has been sitting for a long time[more than a year].
