| Dick; I intended to reply a couple of weeks ago when I first saw your message on this Forum. very possible you are no longer monitoring the messages, since your message four or five years ago was the last until my recent post. I bought a good looking Strada on eBay a couple of weeks ago. It is number 16. A fellow on Wild Guzzi dot com says his research indicates 37 Stradas were imported to the US. His is number 12. What is yours, according to its VIN? Chuck in Indiana and I have 1993 Stradas. If they were actually imported as 1993 and 1994 year models, I wonder why nothing more was done to advertise and promote them? I still haven´t seen mine. It is in Culpeper, VA while I try to figure how to get there from Iowa to bring it home. I´d really like to swap knowledge and experiences with you. For example,one big issue with me at the present is finding luggage carriers. I would like to be able to carry some clothes and stuff along but the one I bought has nothing built on, and GIVI says they are not able to help. I may end up using universal ´throw on´ bags but would rather find carriers for hard bags. Know anything about someone having a set of carriers they´d like to sell but aren´t advertising because think there is no market? Regards, Fred Clark MGNOC #13423 Iowa |
