Just traded my 1100 Breva and a Ducati monster for an 61 plate 1200 sport 90th edition!(Corsa?) red white and black.
I read many forums before getting this bike but even if there is engine issues its was too nice to pass. I contacted a Guzzi dealer with the vin number and the reply I got, was there were no recalls on this bike and the 8v engine with bucket tappet problems was not fitted to the sport!
I have read a MCN review that states that this IS the same engine that is fitted to the Griso and Stelvio that had issues. Can anyone enlighten me, would mine be liable to have future issues? I am a mechanic and changing parts would not be a problem but would like to know one way or another. Bike has done 4100 miles, and is as new, serviced at approx. 800 miles. thanks
