Own a BMW K1200 RS and love it as a long distance tourer. Want to explore options for a off road endouro. Considered A BMW R 1200 GS buy it has been a long time sine I did a lot of off road work and the prospect of dropping it does´nt enthuase me.

Stumbled acreoo info on the KLR 650 and it semms to offer a huge amount for very little money, about a third of the 1200 GS.

Had small test ride but interested to hear long term owenrs comments and be directed to any bike tests done on the KLR 650.
