Is the 1100 a Cali 3?

My first Guzzi was the 950cc Cali 3 LAPD.
After 30 or so years, I now own the 1100 Cali, the Carbed version.
Now, these bikes, seem to be 99% identical to each other.. Given that I am remembering the LAPD one from 30+ years ago that is.
The ONLY difference that I can tell, is that this one has a dual rear light and its black with Red Trim, while the 950 was a sort of Cream and grey and had the single light at the back. Oh and the 950 had Givi boxes, this has Guzzi ones.


So, is the 1100 a Cali 3 or is it not called a Cali 3, but the Cali 1100 ?

Silly question I grant you, but there we go!
